HR Coordinator

About Us

We are Eversheds Sutherland, a global law firm, with more than 5,000 people across over 30 countries. We’re full-service with deep niche and sector experience. Whatever challenge, wherever in the world, we’re equipped and ready to meet it. We live our values, we’re purposeful and purpose-led. So although the world is fast-moving and rapidly changing, we see it as a place where everyone can thrive. We’re ambitious for our clients, our communities – and for you. Whether you’re starting out on your career or well established, whether you’re a lawyer or in business services. If you’re looking for what’s next, we are too.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our Global People Operations team in Birmingham. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering seamless, high quality administrative support across the entire employee lifecycle, partnering closely with the wider People team. We’re committed to continuously improving how we work, so you’ll be encouraged to share ideas, challenge processes and help shape smarter, more efficient ways of working.

This is an opportunity to build strong, collaborative relationships with a range of internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring expectations are managed effectively and service delivery remains smooth and consistent.

While your primary focus will be supporting our Benelux region, you’ll also contribute to our Central People Operations Offboarding team, gaining exposure to broader processes and helping to ensure a consistent employee experience across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities typically include:

Benelux Support

  • End-to-end ownership of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle (pre onboarding to offboarding)
  • Management of pre onboarding activities, contract preparation, and new hire onboarding and induction
  • Administration of employee lifecycle changes, including role, compensation, and personal updates
  • Handling and execution of all absence, payroll, and benefits activities end-to-end
  • First-line HR support for employee queries via ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Front-line HR support for Benelux employees and stakeholders, managing relationships and expectations
  • Ensure HR services are delivered in line with internal policies, audit and control requirements, data protection standards, and applicable employment-related regulations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the company's HR service model, helping strengthen operational efficiency, employee experience, data integrity, and organisational resilience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
