HR Coordinator (HR Systems & Process Improvement) – Manchester (Hybrid, 3 Days On-Site)

Location

Manchester – Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office)

The Role

We’re seeking a proactive HR Coordinator with a focus on HR systems, data quality, and process improvement. Your role will be to deliver efficient HR administration across the employee lifecycle while enhancing system performance, driving automation, and improving employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Provide first-line HR support to employees, managers, and HR teams
  • Handle onboarding, changes, promotions, and leaver processes
  • Generate and maintain GDPR-compliant employee records (contracts, letters, data)
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR databases & paperwork

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain and update HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Ensure data integrity and support system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and data analytics
  • Collaborate on system projects, implementations, and process reviews

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify inefficiencies and propose system/process enhancements
  • Drive automation where possible to streamline HR workflows
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and HR projects

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator, Coordinator, or in Shared Services
  • Strong HR systems expertise (data entry, reporting, troubleshooting)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros welcome)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (clear documentation & stakeholder liaison)
  • Mindset for continuous improvement with a keen interest in systems & efficiency

Desirable

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
  • Involvement in HR system projects, upgrades, or migrations
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
  • Familiarity with GDPR & HR data governance
  • CIPD qualification (or studying towards it)
