Exciting Opportunity: HR Coordinator
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum 39 hrs FTE depending on experience.
Location: Inverness.
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, but individual flexibility for the right candidate can be accommodated.
Role Highlights:
Join us as an HR Coordinator based in our Inverness office and play a key role in supporting our people and managers across the full employee lifecycle. You'll deliver trusted HR guidance, coordinate payroll, ensure compliance and confidentiality, and help foster a positive, values-driven workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to line managers who are the first point of contact for employee inquiries, delivering HR guidance across the full employee lifecycle, supporting HR initiatives and acting as a trusted advocate of the company’s Core Values.
- Play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function based on the company’s People HR Platform by delivering a broad range of HR support across the employee lifecycle.
- Manage the Group payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, company policies and regulations.

Essential:
- Proven experience within an HR function.
- Qualified to CIPD Level 3 or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of legal requirements within an HR environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Commitment to accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with people at all levels within a business.
- Up-to-date knowledge of recruitment, best practice staff retention methods.
- Strong drafting skills with proven ability to draft policies, procedures and reports.
- Experience with the payroll system SAGE.

Desirable:
- Experience in scoping of Learning & Development plans.
- Experience of working in a similar role in a similar sized private business.
