HR Director

Six Figure salary package + Generous Benefits

Fella & Jones are delighted to be partnering with a globally recognised Retail brand to recruit an experienced HR Director.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the Human Resources agenda across the business. Combining strategic leadership with operational excellence, you will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver best-in-class people practices that support business performance, employee engagement, and organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work across the Retail Portfolio
  • Drive the annual talent review and succession planning process.
  • Partner with senior leaders on performance management, talent development, and annual compensation reviews.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, employment law, and all Human Resources matters, ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across both Creative and Commercial functions.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture and enhance retention.
  • Develop and deliver learning and development programmes to support leadership capability and employee growth.
  • Drive initiatives that promote positive employee relations, effective communication, and an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR team.

About You

You'll be a commercially minded HR leader with:

  • Graduate calibre and CIPD qualified (Level 7 or equivalent preferred).
  • Significant senior-level Human Resources experience within a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong expertise across recruitment, employee relations, organisational development, performance management, and talent strategy.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leadership teams and influencing business decisions.
  • Previous people management experience with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience within luxury fashion, retail, or consumer brands would be advantageous but is not essential.
