About the Role

We are seeking a HR Director for our client to take ownership of the UK People strategy and lead the function into its next chapter. This is a genuinely broad, high-impact role. The UK business operates autonomously, often leading international HR initiatives, so you'll have real license to shape the function and make the role your own. You'll be part of the Leadership Team and lead a UK HR team.

While the role is strategic in nature, you'll be working within a flat, hands-on organisation — day-to-day operational tasks are managed by the wider HR team, freeing you up to focus on strategy, culture, and driving change, while staying close enough to the business to know what's really going on. This is a hybrid role based at the company's offices based within commutable distance of Cambridge and Essex.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
