Job Title: HR Director
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading international financial services organisation, for an experienced HR Director to lead the Human Resources function across multiple regions. This is a high-impact leadership role that offers the opportunity to shape the people strategy in alignment with global priorities while addressing local business needs.
As the HR Director, you will report directly to the UK Chief Executive, with a dotted line to the Global HR Director. You will be a critical member of the leadership team and a trusted advisor to senior executives. Your role will involve translating global HR strategy into tailored approaches, driving organisational transformation, and fostering a cohesive culture that supports sustainable growth. Leading a team of HR professionals, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality HR solutions that align with business objectives and long-term ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated HR strategy aligned with global priorities and tailored to local business needs
- Provide strategic HR advice and solutions to support organisational transformation and sustainable growth
- Embed the people agenda into leadership discussions using data-driven insights and fact-based recommendations
- Coach senior leaders to enhance team dynamics, foster collaboration, and cultivate an effective organisational culture
- Lead and develop regional HR teams to ensure strong performance and seamless execution of initiatives
- Oversee workforce planning, talent development, reward strategies, inclusion efforts, and organisational design

Your Profile
We are seeking an accomplished HR leader who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven track record of delivering strategic impact across multiple geographies. Ideal candidates will possess:

- Equivalent senior HR leadership experience
- Expertise in multinational organisations; financial services experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, including social dialogue and collective agreements (UK legislation knowledge preferred)
- Broad HR expertise across organisation design, culture, leadership development, talent management, reward strategies, learning & development, and workforce planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead organisational transformation and long-term workforce planning across diverse markets
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively across cultures
