HR Director or Senior HR Consultant – People Puzzles

Well-located in the West Midlands, supporting clients across Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.

Who Are You?

  • A highly successful CPO, CHRO, People/HR Director, or Senior HR Consultant
  • Passionate about helping businesses unlock their potential through transformational people solutions

What Do We Offer?

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead HR solutions for client businesses, including:
    • Business & strategic HR planning
    • Culture change & business transformation
    • Change management & leadership development
    • Organisational design
    • Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)
    • Wellbeing, Learning & Development (L&D), and Talent Management
  • Full accountability for portfolio client management
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver first-class HR services
  • Partner with the Regional Director and marketing team to attract and onboard new clients

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Proven strategic HR expertise, partnering with Boards & Senior Executive teams
  • Business consulting skills: Identify opportunities and influence at all levels
  • Preferred: CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent
  • "People person" abilities:
    • Leadership & team development
    • Building trust across all organisational levels
    • Strong boards & stakeholder management
  • Authentic (credible & relatable) when engaging with SME business owners
  • Tech-savvy, embracing AI & innovative tools for operational efficiency
  • Commercial mindset: Align HR goals with business objectives
