Who Are You?

We’re looking for an exceptional leader with proven expertise:

  • CPO/CHRO or People/HR Director (or a Senior HR Consultant with equivalent experience)
  • Passionate about people transformation, workforce optimization, and business growth
  • Someone seeking a flexible, vibrant alternative to traditional corporate life—ideally with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional blend of technical HR skills + commercial strategy experience
  • The ability to shape business strategy from a people perspective with credibility from board-level influence down

  • Develop & execute tailored HR strategies – Spanning technology-enabled solutions, change programmes, ESP (Employee Survey Processes), leadership development, inclusion & wellbeing, L&D, and talent acquisition.
  • Own client success – Manage your own portfolio of clients ensuring seamless integration across People Puzzles services & culture.
  • Collaborate horizontally – Partner with co-Directors to elevate our early-market reputation. Teamwork or your puzzle piece could be getting left off the plan.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador – Extend our reach through owned-professionalism in liaising with our Marketing/PR team for:

Key Skills & Experience

You bring to your role a coherent, wealth of qualifications/experience including but not limited to:

  • Major enterprise/commercial finesse: Ability to speak the language of the boardroom while negotiating with front line staff.
  • Three to five decades experience (well versed in everything from cardboard HR solutions to cutting-edge behaviours which include wage gap analytics/system design).
  • Profound consultancy wisdom: Excelling in commercial opportunities—not just HR ownership, but growth visibility.
  • Certifying Proofs of Identity — CIPD Practitioner/Professional or equivalent, toothy plates desired.
  • A confident people-person: Nurturing major analyst levels—lefty or right-brained yet faces-reading skills for B2B SME leaderships.
  • Expertise in Quick Scaling– A granular ability to counsel facets of all people issues from displacement to diverse profiling and data-driven micro-hire team developmental programs.
  • Tech-cultivated: Aware of emergent AI-influenced tools & ready to vet their efficiencies.

How It Works

  • Flexible Delivery – Your work is on-demand, with both office environments/onsite/while many client needs get serviced remotely („asynchrosity“ de rigeur—goals technical scope). However, occasional onsite work—West Midlands proximity (or minority remote) current setup.
