As one of the largest automotive retail groups in the UK, Vertu Motors is proud to represent over thirty of the World's most popular vehicle manufacturers from over 190 sites nationwide.
Due to our continued growth and success, we are looking for a HR Employee Relations Case Manager to join our team.
This role will be based at Rotterdam House in Gateshead and will provide a remote support service within our brand network of dealerships across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Managers with all employee relations issues remotely.
- Remote attendance via Teams at disciplinary, grievance, appeals, welfare & capability meetings.
- Providing sound ER advice in line with company policies and employment legislation.
- Arranging hearings, sending out relevant letters and documentation.
- Providing comprehensive outcome letters on behalf of the operational teams.
- Support the Senior ER Manager with gathering employment tribunal information.
- Build strong and cohesive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identify trends and offer proactive advice.
- Support with ad-hoc HR projects when required.

Requirements
- Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organisation is essential.
- Experience of managing high case load. (c25-40 cases).
- Has ability to make decisions at pace.
- Is able to work autonomously and manage own workload.
- Sound knowledge of employment law.
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 advantageous.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple cases independently.
- Confident communicating at all levels.
