HR Establishment Data Assistant (FTC until 31st March 2027)
Part Time - 28 hours per week
£25,510 - £28,344 pro rata (depending on experience)
Home based within commutable distance of Worcester/Birmingham for occasional travel as required
Are you experienced in HR with a passion for HR systems & data, an analytical mindset and the ability to implement processes and contribute to continuous improvement?
If so, we currently have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Establishment Data Assistant to join and provide high-quality administrative and system support within the HR Information Systems team, with a specific focus on maintaining and improving the organisation's Establishment data and processes.
This is a brand new part-time role, offering 28 hours per week, initially on a fixed term contract basis until 31st March 2027.
As Our HR Establishment Data Assistant, You Will
- Create, amend and maintain Establishment posts and positions within the HR system (iTrent), ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved structures.
- Review large volumes of Establishment and organisational data, carrying out integrity checks to identify gaps, inconsistencies or anomalies.
- Liaise with HRIS colleagues to process system updates, structural changes and Establishment adjustments in a timely and controlled manner.
- Support senior HR colleagues by actioning system changes, analysing data, and identifying anomalies or inconsistencies that require clarification.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by questioning existing processes, suggesting enhancements, and applying logical thinking to resolve issues.
- Work collaboratively with the HR Establishment Lead and wider HRIS team to maintain a robust, well-controlled Establishment structure within the HR system.
- Contribute ideas for improving Establishment processes, data flows and system controls.
- Apply analytical and logical thinking to anticipate downstream impacts of Establishment changes.

What We Are Looking For?
- Demonstrable experience of administering an integrated HR/Payroll system
- Experience of working with HR systems and data, use of iTrent would be ideal
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills to communicate confidently at all levels, whilst maintaining good working relationships with a diverse range of people
- Working effectively as part of a small team, able to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Experience of working with HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of GDPR and other legislation applicable to information management
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Inquisitive nature, able to analyse data and confidence to challenge

While this role is home based, you should be within a commutable distance to travel occasionally to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
