Job Description: HR & Executive Assistant
Meri Meri is an award-winning children’s lifestyle brand that specialises in high-end party products, accessories, play and home. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated HR & Executive Assistant to join our small but expanding team in Cheltenham, on a part-time, permanent basis.
This position involves supplying comprehensive HR support to the business and EA support to the Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ HR experience of which CIPD level 3 or equivalent would be desirable and hold experience as an EA working in a small to medium-sized business. You must be highly organised, work well under pressure and have a warm and helpful personality.
Responsibilities
HR Management
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, liaising with line managers, recruitment agencies and other web-based job sites as appropriate
- On-boarding of new starters and managing the leaver process
- Liaise with the finance team on changes to staff payroll
- Creation and execution of corporate communications
- Learning and development
- Employee benefits
- Global process integration
- Implementation and management of performance review processes
- Be the first point of contact for all HR related queries and signpost as necessary
- Liaise with external HR and legal advisors when required

EA Support
- Manage diaries for the Finance Director and COO
- Coordinate meetings, appraisals and Executive Team meetings
- Arrange travel, accommodation and itineraries when required
- Prepare presentations, agendas and meeting papers
Administration Support
- UK facilities management
- UK office management and communications
- Plan and organise regular UK office events and activities
- Health and Safety

This is a part-time permanent position and we expect the hours to be approximately 9am to 2pm, Monday – Friday.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a wide variety of responsibilities, is discreet, with a calm manner and is exceptionally organised.
