HR Functional Consultant – HR Systems & Process Design
Remote (UK-based with client travel) Salary Range: £60,000 - £65,000 + package
Our client is a growing HCM consultancy specialising in complex HR and workforce transformation programmes.
They are seeking an HR Functional Consultant who excels in leveraging real-world HR expertise to drive early-stage discovery, process design, and HR systems implementation.
The Role
You will collaborate closely with clients at the front end of HR transformation and implementation projects, influencing the design of HR processes, workflows, and operating models before system configuration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR process discovery and design across core employee lifecycle areas
- Map workflows, approvals, roles, responsibilities, and handoffs
- Support Phase 0 implementation readiness activities with clients
- Translate HR requirements into clear functional/system design
- Ensure HR processes fit into the wider HCM solution by working with implementation teams

✅ Experience in designing or improving:
- HR processes
- Workflows
- Employee lifecycle journeys
✅ Confidence delivering client-facing workshops and questioning unclear or inefficient processes
