HR Generalist 6 Month FTC
HR Generalist – London (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to partner with employees and managers, delivering expert support and guidance across the full employee lifecycle while helping to create an engaging and high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, changes, performance, engagement, exits).
- Provide HR advice on absence, health issues, conduct, capability, grievances, and workplace change.
- Partner with managers on employment law and complex investigations, offering clear, legally compliant guidance.
- Support onboarding (contracts, Right-to-Work checks, inductions) and payroll administration (including updates).
- Maintain accurate HR records, HRIS data, and documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Advise and coach managers on company policies, people processes, and performance management.
- Work on performance appraisals, improvement plans, and employee development activities.
- Help develop, implement, and improve HR policies, procedures, and working methods.
- Identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and HR efficiency.
- Support HR reporting, metrics, and people-related systems.
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment.
- Promote employee wellbeing, trust, inclusion, and a strong sense of connection.
- Uphold company standards in confidentiality, security, IT, HR procedures, Health & Safety, and ethical conduct.

Requirements
Essential
- 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or similar role, with a strong focus on manager and employee support.
- Deep knowledge of UK HR practices, employment legislation, and employee relations.
- Expertise in handling:
- Recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
- Absence management, disciplinary procedures, grievances, and performance management
- Policy implementation and HR compliance
- Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to balance empathy, commercial awareness, and operational delivery.
- Excellent communication, moral judgement, and discretion in sensitive matter

Desirable
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Certifications (e.g., CIPD, HRCI) a bonus.
- Experience in a creative/technical sector (e.g., gaming, media).
