Job Summary
As part of the Process Flow Technologies (PFT) Business Unit, the HR Generalist provides operational HR support for our sites in Redditch & Alfreton. Acting as the guardian of site HR, you will ensure the business operates effectively by managing all HR issues and delivering tailored HR plans and solutions. Partnering with site management, the UK HR Team, PFT HR team and corporate functions, you’ll drive employee engagement, oversee employee relations, and ensure legal compliance. You will also play a key role in mergers and acquisitions and support business strategy through effective change management. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead HR initiatives and contribute to the success of the business.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with site and HR management teams to execute business priorities.
- Execute and drive the HR people agenda for the site.
- Advise and support site leadership on employment legislation, absence management, grievances, redundancies, remuneration, training, time & attendance, payroll and company policy.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, benefits administration, and offboarding.
- Ensure site compliance with internal policies, legislative updates, and company practices.
- Collaborate with corporate functions and HR Business Partners to execute annual processes, including compensation and performance reviews, benefits renewals, rewards, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Implement workforce planning, employee engagement initiatives, and support integration for new acquisitions.
- Coordinate site training needs, manage apprenticeships, support corporate initiatives, and participate in ad hoc projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role within a manufacturing environment handling complex employee relations.
- Previous experience using HRIS software (SuccessFactors is desirable)
- CIPD qualified or working towards.

Key Competencies
- Experience of generalist HR and leading HR site operations.
- Demonstrated success in advising and influencing management teams on the full remit of operational HR activities.
- Expertise in employment legislation and extensive knowledge of policies, procedures and compliance.
- Strong written skills with proven ability to draft policies, procedures and reports.
- Strong competence across Microsoft 365 package (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) with the ability to create and analyse data to inform decision making.
- Good coaching & mentoring skills with ability to resolve conflict situations.
- Delivery focused with the ability to prioritise and organise own workload within agreed deadlines.
