HR Generalist

Job Description: HR Generalist

nGeneration is looking for an HR Generalist to support the smooth running of day-to-day people operations across the business. Working within the Information Technology and Services sector, this role is central to creating a well-managed, compliant, and positive employee experience, while helping the company maintain strong HR processes and standards.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing administration, employee support, and recruitment coordination in a hands-on HR role. You will play an important part in supporting employees and managers, helping the business navigate people matters with professionalism, accuracy, and care.

As HR Generalist, you will contribute across the full employee lifecycle, supporting both routine HR activity and more sensitive employee relations matters. The role is suited to someone who can stay organised, handle confidential information appropriately, and build trusted working relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR administration across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Handle employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinaries, and tribunals.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
  • Oversee recruitment activities from job posting through the offer stage.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure policy and compliance adherence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
