About The Role
The Crowd are partnering with a prestigious architecture firm renowned for thought-provoking, design-led projects across the UK and internationally. They are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their London-based team.
In this hands-on generalist role, you will collaborate with the HR team to support the full employee lifecycle—while engaging in wider initiatives in people, culture, wellbeing, and operations. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership teams and stakeholders across multiple studios, playing a crucial role in supporting the firm’s growth and evolution.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within architecture or the built environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR Generalist across the full employee lifecycle
- Lead and support employee relations matters, providing guidance to managers while ensuring best practice across the business
- Oversee HR reporting, payroll coordination, and people data management, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Support learning and development initiatives, career progression planning, and leadership coaching across teams
- Drive wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives, fostering an inclusive and collaborative studio culture
- Contribute to EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) initiatives
- Support the ongoing improvement and optimisation of HR systems and processes, maximising operational efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with stakeholders across global offices to drive business growth
- Assist with the development and implementation of people policies, procedures, and internal communication
Key Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in a HR Generalist role, ideally within architecture, design, creative, or professional services
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience supporting international teams or multi-studio environments (advantageous)
- Confidence in handling employee relations and advising managers across all levels
- Strong operational and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with HR systems, alongside a passion for process improvement
- A passion for people, culture, wellbeing, and employee development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused with a strong attention to detail
