This proactive Internship will offer hands-on experience in UK Immigration support, spanning:

  • Immigration application preparation & submission
  • Document tracking & compliance
  • Detailed reporting on sponsored work visa routes, including:
    • Global Business Mobility
    • Skilled Worker pathways

By joining TCS, you’ll develop expertise in UK immigration categories, working closely with a cross-functional UK Immigration team while gaining exposure to HR, mobility, and compliance operations.


Key Responsibilities

The Intern will assist with the following, under guidance:

  • Drafting UK immigration application submissions and supporting documentation.
  • Navigating the:
    • UK Points-Based System (PBS)
    • Sponsorship Management System (SMS)
  • Managing administrative tasks across Global Business Mobility (GBM), Skilled Worker visas, and other work-related immigration processes.
  • Tracking:
    • UK immigration deadlines
    • Rights-to-work documentation
    • Internal compliance requirements
  • Researching immigration rules, policy updates, and procedural guidance.
  • Maintaining accurate case records, data trackers, and employee databases per internal processes.
  • Preparing earlier drafts of employee status updates and internal reports.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather documents and information.
  • Supporting audits, data verification, and process reporting.
  • Contributing to:
    • Templates and knowledge resources
    • Process improvement initiatives

Requirements and Profile

We seek an ambitious candidate with:

  • A strong interest in UK immigration, HR, employment law, global mobility, or international business.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, capable of multitasking to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong research, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft® Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
