HR Intern – London Head Office
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our fast-paced Human Resources department. This role is designed for someone passionate about people, eager to learn, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a generalist HR environment.
We’re particularly looking for a candidate who genuinely wants to develop their HR knowledge and contribute to the smooth and effective functioning of our department.
You will be based in our London Head Office as part of the Northern Europe HR Team, with support provided to the wider EMEI HR team where required.
Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Support
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure all administration tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner for the full employee lifecycle.
- Maintain the filing system, keeping folders concise, up-to-date, and setting up new starter folders.

HRIS & Admin Work
- Conduct data entry into the HRIS, databases, and relevant trackers.

Onboarding Assistance
- Support the onboarding of new starters, including:
- Drafting offer letters, employment contracts, and probation pass letters.
- Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed, returned, and saved in employees’ personal folders.
- Collaborating with IT on equipment and access provision.
- Reference checks for new hires.

Calendar & Recognition Management
- Track and share monthly birthday/anniversary reminders.
- Ensure key HR deadlines (e.g., fixed-term contract end dates, probation end dates) are added to managers’ and HR team’s Outlook calendars.
- Distribute anniversary cards and gifts.

Offboarding Support
- Handle the outboarding process, including drafting and sending Resignation Acceptance Letters.

Hiring & Recruitment
- Support the EMEI team with:
- Posting vacancies on LinkedIn and ICims.
- Screening talent and related admin tasks.
- Keep EMEI and regional Northern Europe Organizational Charts up-to-date.

Additional Duties
- Provide reception support during lunch breaks and holidays, as required.
- Assist with event organisation and supply orders.
- Complete ad hoc HR admin duties and support project work as needed.
Skills & Requirements
- Passion for Human Resources – A genuine interest and willingness to support a dynamic HR department.
- No prior experience required, but valuable – This is a learning-focused internship.
- Proactive mindset – Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong written communication – Clear, professional, and effective correspondence skills.
- Soft skills – Demonstrates empathy, integrity, and strict confidentiality in all tasks.
