Role: HR Intern

πŸ“ Location: Reading, UK

πŸ•’ Duration: 3 Months (with potential extension to 6 Months)

Hybrid Working: Candidates must be able to attend the Reading office 2–3 days per week as part of a hybrid working arrangement.

Are you passionate about people, employee experience, and workplace culture? Looking to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources within a global technology organisation?

At Mastek, we're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Intern to join our People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities while working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Rewards, Payroll, and HR Operations teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • βœ… Coordinating onboarding and induction activities for new joiners
  • βœ… Supporting employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programmes, and culture events
  • βœ… Scheduling employee connects, HR check-ins, and feedback sessions
  • βœ… Tracking HR processes, compliance activities, and employee documentation
  • βœ… Maintaining HR reports, trackers, and dashboards
  • βœ… Supporting stakeholder communications across the business

What We're Looking For

  • βœ” Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Management, or a related field
  • βœ” Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • βœ” Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • βœ” High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • βœ” Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • βœ” Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Nice to Have

  • βž• Previous internship or administrative experience
  • βž• Exposure to HR systems or employee databases
  • βž• Interest in employee experience, people operations, and organisational culture
