Role: HR Intern
π Location: Reading, UK
π Duration: 3 Months (with potential extension to 6 Months)
Hybrid Working: Candidates must be able to attend the Reading office 2β3 days per week as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
Are you passionate about people, employee experience, and workplace culture? Looking to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources within a global technology organisation?
At Mastek, we're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Intern to join our People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities while working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Rewards, Payroll, and HR Operations teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- β Coordinating onboarding and induction activities for new joiners
- β Supporting employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programmes, and culture events
- β Scheduling employee connects, HR check-ins, and feedback sessions
- β Tracking HR processes, compliance activities, and employee documentation
- β Maintaining HR reports, trackers, and dashboards
- β Supporting stakeholder communications across the business

What We're Looking For
- β Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Management, or a related field
- β Strong organisational and coordination skills
- β Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- β High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- β Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- β Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Nice to Have
- β Previous internship or administrative experience
- β Exposure to HR systems or employee databases
- β Interest in employee experience, people operations, and organisational culture
