Role Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven HR Interns to join our People Operations team. This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals eager to gain hands-on HR and recruitment experience in a mission-driven tech start-up. As an HR Intern, youโ€™ll support recruitment processes, assist with onboarding, maintain HR documentation, and contribute to building a strong, supportive, people-first culture at Armbrella. You will work closely with the HR team and gain exposure to real HR operations in a global organisation. This role generally involves a commitment of about 6โ€“10 hours per week, with flexibility based on your schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with posting various job roles on job boards and social platforms
  • Help source candidates, review applications, and schedule interviews
  • Participate in stakeholder communication and coordination
  • Support onboarding and induction processes for new interns and volunteers
  • Maintain HR records, internal databases, and documentation
  • Assist in creating HR policies, templates, and reports
  • Help with organising performance check-ins and HR communications
  • Provide general administrative support on HR and recruitment projects
  • Contribute ideas to improve HR workflows and enhance employee experience

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Prior HR experience is a plus but not required
  • Coursework in HR is advantageous
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Can start immediately
