HR Manager (part-time)

Our client, a leading social care charity based in Newcastle with several sites across Tyne & Wear employing 350 staff, is seeking to appoint an HR Manager to manage all aspects of HR to support the charity in delivering all its people-related processes.
Your Specific Responsibilities As HR Manager Will Include
- Maintaining good practice, adhering to regulatory and legal requirements
- Managing and mentoring two HR Co-ordinators
- Working closely with the IT Lead on the digital HR information system
- Leading on employee engagement, L&D, health & wellbeing and workplace culture
- Taking overall responsibility for absence management processes and practices
- Overseeing recruitment
- Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures
- Managing employee relations, including terms & conditions, performance, disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and redundancies
- Taking responsibility for Payroll
- Monthly reporting to the Directorate

As HR Manager You Will Need
- A level 5 CIPD qualification
- Experience in or empathy with the Social Care sector and its values
- HR Generalist experience
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience of digital HR information systems
