Based at Dunbia Cross Hands
The HR Manager will oversee both operational and strategic HR management for 750 employees. Leading a team of about 7 people, they will ensure a professional HR service. Reporting to the Site Director and collaborating with the Site Operations Manager and Senior Management Team, the HR Manager will handle all daily HR functions, enhancing people management practices and skills.

Responsibilities
As a Site HR Manager, you will:
- Drive and implement the agreed HR strategy across the business.
- Design and implement actions from the HR Roadmap, with a key focus on recruitment, retention, and motivation of staff.
- Work with Site managers and Site recruitment team to identify areas of recruitment and retention difficulties (site hotspots) and develop and implement target strategies for recruitment.
- Coach, support, and advise the Site Senior Management Team on all HR matters relating to people management.
- Provide information and support to all Site staff on employment, benefits, and welfare matters.
- Ensure that all Site learning & development is supported and training needs are met and evidenced.
- Lead and support the HR team on their HR tasks and any project-related work.
- Responsible for the HR metrics and monitoring of this and implementing improvements.
- Act as a specialist resource to the Site, providing advice on highly complex employee relation issues such as disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance management, appeals, harassment/bullying issues.
- Familiar with all computerized Dunbia HR information and input, retrieve, and report information as required, including overseeing the management of data input to the Dunbia HR Information System.
- Maintain high standards of work within the HR department.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Site Operations Manager / Head of HR UK / Group HRD.
- Adhere to and positively promote the Dunbia Core Values.

Qualifications
The Candidate:
The ideal HR Manager will have:
- Extensive recent experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable experience of leading and developing team members, ideally across multiple sites.
- Experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues in a unionised environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and leadership of “value-added” initiatives to the business and the HR function.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of current employment legislation.

As a HR Manager, you'll work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday based at site, with 31 days of annual leave.
