Job Role Summary
You will support the delivery of required targets for Larbert Operations by providing HR functional support to the site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and practices aligned with operational and financial objectives.
- Creating an environment and culture that promotes team involvement, continuous improvement.
- Championing HR best practice.
You will also support AD Group HR activities as required.
Key Responsibilities
Key tasks and responsibilities include:

HR Strategy & Implementation:
- Aligning HR practices with the site’s strategic goals and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring policies comply with employment law while supporting business objectives.

Employee Relations & Operations:
- Managing complex Employment Relations (ER) cases, including trade union engagements in a unionised environment.
- Facilitating constructive workplace relationships between management, employees, and unions.

Organisational Development & Change:
- Leading large-scale change projects and culture transformation initiatives.
- Coaching and developing teams to support operational success and talent retention.

Organisational & Financial Efficiency:
- Delivering analysis and recommendations to support efficiency improvements and cost-effective HR solutions.
- Assisting in workforce planning and talent management initiatives.

Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensuring all HR functions meet legal and regulatory standards.
- Identifying HR risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate them.

- Promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Supporting well-being initiatives tailored to the operational environment.

Mentorship & Development:
- Mentoring junior HR professionals and fostering a growth mindset within the Larbert operations team.
Requirement & Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced HR professional with:
- 3–5 years in a senior HR role, preferably within a:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills, including influencing at all organisational levels.
- Substantial experience managing large-scale changes, including integrating new policies and processes.
- Experience working with unions, particularly in an industrial setting.
- Strong Employment Relations (ER) skills to resolve conflicts and improve governance.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing abilities.
Preferred:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience directing culture transformation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of supporting trust in high-consequence environments.
