HR Manager
HR Manager (Temp-to-Perm) – Sandwell, West Midlands
We are sourcing an experienced HR Manager for a temp-to-perm role. The position is based in Sandwell, with an onsite presence and a large manufacturing organisation offering flexibility.
About the Role
Reporting to the HR Director, you will deliver a proactive, commercially focused HR service across multiple operational sites.
This is a broad HR generalist role requiring you to:
- Act as the trusted HR partner to managers and provide expert advice across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Take the lead on complex employee relations cases, support organisational change initiatives, and drive employee engagement programmes.
- Help develop management capability through coaching and guidance.
- Contribute to performance management, absence management, succession planning, and learning & development programmes.
- Use HR data and trends to recommend enhancements.
- Support the review and implementation of HR policies.
- Lead on HR projects, collaborate with Payroll and Health & Safety teams, and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and best practice.

Key Requirements
- Qualification: CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
- Experience: At least five years of HR generalist experience, with preference for roles in manufacturing, engineering, or operational sectors
- Skills:
- Experience managing complex employee relations
- Confident coaching and change management abilities
- Strong commercial and hands-on approach to HR solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
