HR Manager

HR Manager - Financial Services - 6 Month FTC likely to extend

A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced HR professional for a 6 month fixed term contract to support and manage HR operations across EMEA and APAC. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners with senior stakeholders in a highly regulated environment. Managed confidentially by a third party.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HR operations and HRIS (Workday).
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Maintain HR data accuracy, integrity, and regulatory reporting standards.
  • Lead employee relations cases and act as a key escalation point.
  • Support performance management, goal-setting, and talent processes.
  • Deliver HR projects across multiple jurisdictions in line with business needs.
  • Partner with senior leaders to embed HR best practice within financial services.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
  • Ensure robust data privacy and manage external HR vendors.

  • Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Financial services HR experience is essential.
  • Experience within global or European HR functions.
  • Strong HRIS capability (Workday preferred).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of labour law and HR governance in regulated environments.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work autonomously.
