Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding HR Manager (dual site) role where you can shape the culture to success? Are you a dynamic leader who can deliver a high-impact, best in class HR service by partnering with operational leaders to drive engagement and performance for our prestigious customer Nestle?

If so, join us as HR Manager (dual site) and deliver GXO centric HR leadership across our East Midlands Gateway NDC for Nestle, Tails.com and Nespresso and our Hams Hall NDC for Nestle Purina. You’ll thrive in our customer focused environment, where you will influence and shape our GXO HR strategy with our senior leaders across both sites.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner

This is a great opportunity to influence business decisions and instil best practice around our people, culture, compliance and engagement. Working closely with the General Managers at both sites you will be expected to take the lead across a total headcount of circa 600 colleagues in delivering a great place to work with the scope to thrive, change and support continual growth across the operations

Your direct team will consist of 8 colleagues, across the two sites, these will cover HR, payroll and training.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity with core working hours of Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 (flexibility available for business/personal needs). The role will require regular travel to the two sites (company car) ideally equally split throughout the week.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, plus a company car and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day

  • Lead delivery of a high-quality, end-to-end HR service across both sites, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Partner with operational leaders building strong relationships and driving engagement, wellbeing, and performance
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary, multi skilled HR team
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including complex cases, absence management, disciplinary processes, and change initiatives (e.g. restructures, TUPE)
  • Drive GXO people strategy and continuous improvement, including recruitment, talent development, engagement surveys, HR reporting/KPIs, and process enhancements

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent) with strong, up-to-date employment law expertise, including handling complex ER cases and providing strategic HR guidance
  • Proven HR leader with multi-site experience, confident using people data and KPIs (e.g. attrition, absence) to drive performance and decision-making
  • Strong relationship builder with a passion for employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion, delivering impactful people initiatives
