Location: Bridgwater Contract type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

As a Site HR Manager, you’ll drive the people agenda at our site—a dynamic opportunity for someone who excels in an operational environment.
About the Role
You’ll lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to retention and exit—ensuring Müller’s people strategy aligns with business objectives. Your role is critical in building strong partnerships with trade unions and site leadership, championing a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion, and leveraging HR analytics to inform decisions.
Collaborating across HR and operational teams, you’ll shape a positive colleague experience that supports productivity and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, induction, performance, and exit.
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade unions, site leaders, and other stakeholders to achieve business goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR policies, best practice, and people-related challenges.
- Lead engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives tailored to the site.
- Use HR data and insights to drive performance improvements and strategic decision-making.
- Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession activities.
- Work closely with recruitment and HR teams to deliver seamless candidate experiences and smooth onboarding.

What We’re Looking For
- HR generalist experience: Proven ability to deliver core HR functions with strong knowledge of policies, legislation, and best practice.
- Training & leadership: Confidence in coaching managers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset: Proficiency in interpreting HR data and using it to inform broader business strategies.
- Communication & organisation: Outstanding interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborative approach: Emotional intelligence and a proven ability to build trust and foster inclusion.
- GPPR & data handling: Knowledge of GDPR compliance and best practices for managing sensitive employee information.
- Manufacturing advantage (preferred): Familiarity with a fast-paced operations context is a strong advantage.
