We are seeking an experienced HR Professional to lead our HR and Talent Management function. This role will:

  • Drive initiatives to attract, develop, and retain talented employees.
  • Ensure HR practices align with the business’s success strategy.

This part-time role (16–20 hours per week, 3–4 days) is office-based in Peterborough. The annual salary is £40,000 (full-time equivalent) on a pro-rated basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with and coach the management team on people management, fostering a high-performance culture through open collaboration.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including:
    • Recruitment and selection
    • Employee relations, disciplines, grievances
    • Contracts, pay, and benefits
    • Learning and development
    • Talent and succession planning
    • Performance management
  • Develop and refine HR policies, processes, and best practices to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage payroll (with HR Administrator support).

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Employment law knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (team to executive).
  • Experience designing/policies:
    • Employment contracts
    • HR policies & procedures
    • Recruitment offers
  • Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and confidence in confidential matters.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage diverse projects.
