Job Overview
BP International Limited is seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager to join our team in Chertsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated HR professional to lead our human resources function, driving organisational effectiveness and employee engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law. You will be a key partner to the leadership team, providing expert guidance and support to foster a positive and high-performing company culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding processes.
- Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution, providing professional and pragmatic advice.
- Ensure the organisation's policies and procedures are compliant with current UK employment legislation and best practices.
- Administer compensation and benefits programmes, conducting regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness.
- Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee well-being and engagement.
- Provide coaching and guidance to senior management and line managers on all HR-related matters.
- Analyse HR metrics and data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and support HR projects and change management initiatives across the business.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience in managing employee relations and HR strategy development.
- Proficient in the use of HR information systems and MS Office.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field would be an advantage.
