On behalf of our prestigious client, the Harris Federation, we are seeking an organised, detail-oriented HR (Onboarding) Administrator to join their central HR Operations team on a temporary basis.
Based at their modern Head Office in Croydon, this role is essential in delivering an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring all new Head Office employees are seamlessly integrated and fully prepared to start their roles on time.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Central HR Manager, you will act as a key point of contact for both hiring managers and new starters. You will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of compliance and administration across the onboarding journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing comprehensive pre-employment checks and ensuring safer recruitment compliance.
- Handling contract administration and coordinating precise payroll setup.
- Coordinating all new starter requirements and supporting employee inductions.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and meticulously updating the Single Central Record.
- Assisting academies across the Federation with onboarding queries and contributing to wider HR projects and process improvements.

Requirements
- Proven previous experience within an HR, recruitment, or onboarding administration environment.
- Strong organisational skills coupled with excellent attention to detail.
- Superb communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A solid understanding of safer recruitment guidelines and pre-employment screening processes.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
