About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking People Manager to lead our HR Operations team at Giacom.

This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to modernise, streamline and transform how we deliver people services, helping to create a more scalable, efficient and digitally enabled function that enhances the employee experience across the business.

You’ll lead a team of People professionals while working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure our HR Operations function is commercially aligned, forward-thinking and built for growth.

This is a hybrid role with regular travel between our office locations to support team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of People Operations, ensuring an efficient, high-quality and compliant service
  • Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters, supporting managers and driving consistency in best practice
  • Empower managers by improving understanding of people processes, policies and the employee lifecycle
  • Use data, KPIs and insight to drive performance, inform decision-making and improve employee experience
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems and service delivery, identifying opportunities to simplify and increase efficiency
  • Support the modernisation of the function through automation, HR systems development and scalable ways of working
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and audit/ISO standards
  • Coach and develop a high-performing People Operations team
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to influence, challenge and drive positive change

Your Experience

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience managing, leading and developing operational HR / People functions
  • In-depth knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation (including TUPE)
  • Experience leading process improvement or transformation initiatives
  • Confidence using data and insights to drive decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to challenge and drive change
  • Experience with HR systems / HRIS implementation or optimisation
