Job Description

Sysco (whose UK operating companies include Brakes, Fresh Direct, KFF and Medina) is recruiting a people-focused and engaging HR Partner to join our HR team.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will work closely with site leadership teams to deliver a proactive HR service that supports business performance, colleague engagement, and organisational growth. As a trusted advisor, you will provide coaching, guidance, and challenge to managers across all aspects of people management, helping to create a positive and high-performing culture.

We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, which can be discussed further during the interview process. Due to the collaborative nature of the role and the need to build strong relationships with stakeholders, regular presence at our Grantham, Lincolnshire office is required, therefore candidates should be within a commutable distance.

Responsibilities

This is a varied business partnering role where you will support the delivery of people initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including:

  • Recruitment
  • Onboarding
  • Talent development
  • Engagement
  • Performance management
  • Organisational change

Working closely with HR Centres of Excellence, you will help embed people plans that build capability, strengthen talent pipelines, and improve the overall colleague experience. You will also use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and support improvements in areas such as retention, attendance, and engagement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
