HR & Payroll Administrator
We're looking for an organised and detail-focused HR & Payroll Administrator to support a large contract transfer. In this role, you'll report into the Senior HR Business Partner and work closely with HR, Payroll and Group Functions teams and up to nine external organisations to help prepare and manage employee and payroll data ahead of TUPE transfers.
This opportunity is for someone with strong HR administration, payroll and data management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation and collaboration are critical. You'll be joining a supportive team at a pivotal time, helping to ensure a smooth transition for employees while delivering a high-quality service throughout the transfer process.
This is a full-time, Fixed Term contract role until 31st March 2027. Home-based opportunity, with occasional travel. Job Description:
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and maintaining employee data to support TUPE transfers, including Employee Liability Information (ELI) and personnel records.
- Coordinating payroll administration activities with internal Payroll teams and external employers to ensure accurate employee transfers.
- Producing workforce reports and management information, including data analysis, validation and reporting on key people metrics.
- Supporting TUPE consultations by arranging meetings, preparing agendas, recording actions and maintaining project trackers.
- Acting as a key point of contact for HR-related transfer activities, coordinating stakeholders and following up on actions and information requests.
- Supporting wider HR, communications and employee consultation activities to ensure a smooth and compliant transfer process.

Essential qualifications/skills/experience
- Experience working within HR administration, including working with large amounts of personnel data
- Payroll administration experience, ideally using SAP Payroll
- Strong MS Excel skills with ability to work with large amounts of personnel data using pivot tables, V lookups, formulas, etc
- Ability to work with sensitive data within a confidential environment
- Good data analysis skills, with the ability to work with multiple spreadsheets and data sources
- Competent in MS Word and Outlook features, such as, creating group mailings, updating and preparing documents and updating contact lists
Desirable qualifications/skills/experience
- Previous experience using Workday for employee data management and reporting
- Use of Microsoft Co-pilot and other AI applications to support effective meeting and data activities
