Our Client

Our client based in Birmingham are a global business with an outstanding reputation. An opportunity has arisen for an HR & People Services Manager to join their growing international HR operations team.

Role Overview

This role is hybrid and requires three days in office attendance.

Responsibilities

The People Services Manager role is a heavy people management role requiring experience of managing team leaders and wider teams within their HR Shared Services hub. Reporting into the Senior HR People Operations Manager, this role will drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, and alignment to the wider HR strategy. The role will entail:

  • Oversee the day-to-day HR Operations including queries and transactions
  • Driving accountability, performance, and continuous development
  • Governance of all policies and procedures
  • Driving transformation initiatives including streamlining processes
  • Managing stakeholders internally and externally
  • Working with the audit and quality team to review and refine operational processes
  • Oversee and enhance all onboarding and all compliance
  • Supporting HR projects
  • Creating and embedding a high performing culture improving accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

Applicants must have previous experience managing within a People Services/Operations or HR Shared Service Centre Environment. You will have managed Team Leaders as well as a wider HR Operations team. Exposure to professional services is also desirable.
