HR Programme Manager – Learning & Development (EMEA Expansion)

Location: EMEA region Employment Type: Full-time Total Compensation Potential: Up to £150k TC


About the Role

A market-leading global hedge fund undergoing rapid expansion across the EMEA region is seeking a HR Programme Manager. Reporting to the global L&D team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing talent development, performance management, and competency enhancement initiatives for their growing European workforce.

This is a project-focused, data-driven role designed to elevate learning and talent enablement through people analytics and operational excellence. As a critical first-of-its-kind hire in Europe, the position offers a leadership opportunity within a collaborative, rapidly scaling team.


Key Responsibilities

Programme & Project Management

  • Work closely with L&D teams and HR Business Partners to design and deliver talent development, performance management, and competency-building programmes.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of L&D projects, from design to reporting, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Set up governance structures and frameworks to track programme success.
  • Utilise people analytics tools to measure, visualise, and improve project performance and ROI.

Requirements

Skills & Expertise

  • Project management experience in HR, L&D, or talent development, with a focus on programme execution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with people analytics and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to design and implement frameworks and governance structures for talent initiatives.
  • Experience leveraging HRIS, LMS platforms, or similar tools to track success and optimise processes.
  • A clear passion for upskilling, high-potential development, and upscaling L&D capabilities.

About You

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, international corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience in leading L&D or HR initiatives, ideally in finance/hedge fund or similar sectors.
  • Collaborative team player with a results-oriented attitude.
  • Desirable: Certifications in coaching, talent development, or HR analytics.
