At Curtins, our people are at the heart of everything we do. The Role

We're looking for a people-focused experienced HR professional to join our small but highly impactful team supporting approximately 400 employees across the UK.

As part of a close-knit team of three, you'll be trusted to take ownership of a wide range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. You'll play an important role in shaping the employee experience, working collaboratively while having the autonomy to manage priorities, make decisions, and drive improvements.

This role would suit someone with proven HR administration and recruitment support experience who is looking for greater ownership and variety across the employee lifecycle within a small, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies via the ATS and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience
  • Maintain accurate HR records, employee data and HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Support managers and employees with HR policies, procedures and general advice
  • Produce HR reports and people metrics to support decision-making
  • Coordinate employee relations activities through accurate note-taking, preparation of documentation, meeting coordination and effective case administration and support.
  • Assist with HR projects and wider people initiatives
  • Monitor and communicate legislative and employment law updates, supporting policy reviews where required
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and employment legislation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and employee experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
