The Role
We're looking for a people-focused experienced HR professional to join our small but highly impactful team supporting approximately 400 employees across the UK.
As part of a close-knit team of three, you'll be trusted to take ownership of a wide range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. You'll play an important role in shaping the employee experience, working collaboratively while having the autonomy to manage priorities, make decisions, and drive improvements.
This role would suit someone with proven HR administration and recruitment support experience who is looking for greater ownership and variety across the employee lifecycle within a small, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies via the ATS and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee data and HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
- Support managers and employees with HR policies, procedures and general advice
- Produce HR reports and people metrics to support decision-making
- Coordinate employee relations activities through accurate note-taking, preparation of documentation, meeting coordination and effective case administration and support.
- Assist with HR projects and wider people initiatives
- Monitor and communicate legislative and employment law updates, supporting policy reviews where required
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and employment legislation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and employee experience

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrable administrative, organisational and data management skills, with experience supporting HR and recruitment processes in a professional environment.
- Is a confident user of Microsoft 365 applications and HR systems, with the ability to maintain accurate data and records.
- Has a strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle and holds, or is working towards, a CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Keeps up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Builds positive relationships with people at all levels
- Has strong administrative and IT skills and is competent user of Microsoft office packages.
- Takes ownership of their work while enjoying being part of a small collaborative team
- Genuinely cares about creating a positive employee experience
