Our HR Shared Services team is passionate about service delivery and the employee experience. As HR Shared Services Specialist EMEA, you will play an important role in the newly established HR Shared Services function, with responsibility for managing data transactions and processes, ensuring strong data integrity, and continuously reviewing and improving transactional HR processes using lean principles.
This is involving HR operational activities in the EMEA region with a particular emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, quality, and compliance. You will also participate in our efforts to execute our continuous improvement strategy in the region, including the deployment of optimization and automation capabilities across the HR function.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Transactional Processing:
- Professional delivery, and timely and flawless execution of HR transactions throughout the employment lifecycle and operational HR tasks within our centralized Shared Service Model.
- Manage a variety of HR processes in accordance / compliance with standard operating procedures, country policies and local regulations for UK & Ireland, as well as other locations in our EMEA region.
- Enhance the controls in the processing and systems execution for any transaction task.
- Ensure the highest data quality and integrity for all transaction in Workday HRIS, conducting regular audits.

Customer centricity:
- Manage and coordinate employee inquiries within reasonable timeframes and/or agreed SLAs.
- Work together with HRBPs and COEs to resolve complex queries and propose solutions.
- Guide employees and managers in using Workday and other HR systems facilitating technology adoption.
- Update and enhance direct access resources for our stakeholders (HR intranet pages).
Continuous Improvement & Project Management:
- Optimization and enhancement of our standard operating processes, as well as within our Workday HRIS – blending project management skills, HR domain knowledge, and expertise in the Workday system to support on this responsibility.
- Coordinate successful completion of project deliverables, identify risks and problems, build mitigation plans and solutions, and support the implementation of changes and solutions for corporate change initiatives impacting different functions and processes.
Requirements:

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management or in related field
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources function, preferably delivering services in shared service center environment towards a UK and international client group.
- Experience with Workday HR information system.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law (additional countries is a strong bonus!).
- Experience with and solid proficiency in HR processes throughout the employee life cycle and related standard operating procedures (e.g. onboarding, job changes, leave of absences, offboarding).
- Experience leading or contributing to HR projects / programmes, with strong proficiency to support change management.
- Experience with continuous improvement, with demonstrated ability to identify needs, investigate options, seek solutions and partner to resolve issues.

- Ability to work fast whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong technology skills (Workday HCM, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Docusign etc).
- Committed to championing a remarkable employee experience.
- Pro-active in suggesting process and system improvements, and subsequently driving forwards change.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills ability.
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to successful completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with partners and stakeholders, in a remote and multi-country setting.
