The Role: HR SOX Remediation Analyst

As an HR SOX Remediation Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of remediation activity, ensuring UK HR controls meet SOX audit requirements. Collaborating with a wider project team, you’ll track complex actions, align them to control needs, and ensure full compliance with HR processes and policies.

Your focus will be on executing remediation delivery, maintaining oversight, and guaranteeing all activity meets required standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support remediation delivery of high-priority HR controls

    • Translate Control requirements into practical updates to HR processes and policies
  • Track & Coordinate Remediation:

    • Manage and update remediation plans, ensuring actions are clear and progressed
    • Monitor status of remediation linking gaps, delays, or risks
    • Escalate issues in a proactive and timely manner
  • Reporting & Updates:

    • Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders
    • Maintain accurate documentation adhering to audit standards

  • Prior exposure to SOX compliance (not strictly required)
  • Relevant qualifications in risk, audit, or compliance are beneficial but optional
  • Excellent written & verbal communication (clearly articulate technical information)
  • Strong numeracy skills with proficiency in handling data
  • Preparedness for dynamic stakeholder engagements

Relevant Knowledge

While a deep HR system expertise is advantageous, no prior HR experience is critical. Instead, you should:

  • Possess a commercially astute mindset
  • Showcase minimal attention to detail & accuracy
  • Offer a results-driven work approach
