The Role
As an HR SOX Remediation Analyst, you’ll play a key role in elevating UK HR controls to SOX-auditable standards. Working within a cross-functional team, your responsibilities include:
- Coordination and execution of remediation initiatives
- Aligning HR processes and policies with control requirements
- Maintaining oversight of remediation progress and ensuring delivery meets SOX standards
Your focus will be on delivery excellence, clear tracking of progress, and audit readiness.
What You’ll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
- Support delivery of high-priority HR control remediations identified as critical for SOX compliance
- Translate control requirements into actionable HR process updates and policy revisions
- Maintain and update remediation plans, ensuring all actions are clearly tracked and progressed
- Monitor remediation status, highlight risks, delays, or gaps, and escalate Issues in a timely manner
- Prepare regular progress updates and reports for stakeholders and project leads
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders globally across teams and regions to gather information and actionable support
- Ensure remediation documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with audit requirements
- Coordinate multi-workstream activities to maintain consistency and alignment
- Contribute to improving remediation tracking, reporting, and management methodologies

Who We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- Project or remediation experience in a structured environment (risk, compliance, audit or operations)
- Strong understanding of risk and controls—either through experience in audit, compliance, or operational governance
- Document-driven mindset with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to turn policies into practical action
- Progress-tracking expertise—comfortable managing data, producing clear reports, and synthesising information for stakeholders
- Stakeholder management—able to foster collaboration across teams, reach consensus, and drive delivery
- Awareness of HR processes is a plus but not essential; SOX or regulatory exposure is desirable but not mandatory

Credentials
- Desirable: Qualifications in risk, audit or compliance (e.g., internal auditing, CIMA, CISA, FRM)
- Beneficial but not required

- Proactive problem-solving—willing to escalate risks constructively
