Our Company
Super Smart Service Ltd (SSS) established in December 2015 in West Midlands, UK. We are a large-scale multinational logistics company under the Zong Teng Group. Our main business is to provide Chinese domestic cross-border e-sellers and local online retailers in the UK to expand reliable warehousing business and timely delivery service platforms on international platforms. The operation started by providing reliable fulfilment warehousing solutions and prompt final mile distribution service for our cross-border e-sellers and UK local online retailers such as eBay, Amazon and other platforms. Over the past few years, we have formed strong working relationships with partners like Royal Mail, Yodel, Evri, China Post, DPD, XDP, Palletways as well as Goodcang, YunExpress and other logistic giants. Currently, our warehouses have expanded all over the world with 18 warehouses in the UK and the business is still expanding continually. We have sites in Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Worcester, Wolverhampton, Stone, Derby and Alfreton areas.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, commercially aware HR Specialist to deliver business-focused HR services across several UK warehouse locations. This pivotal role requires the HR Specialist to work closely with managers and employees to provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment laws while fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. As part of this role, the HR Specialist will stay closely aligned with the business's evolving goals, offering tailored support to various warehouse teams and maintaining a deep understanding of operational requirements.

Job Types
- Working hours: On-site Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm (flexibility required). 176 hours per month
- Contract type: Full time
- Willingness to work in different locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- The role is currently focused on recruitment activities, with opportunities to gain exposure to and develop experience across a broad range of HR functions as the role evolves.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries across designated business areas, collaborating with warehouse management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and employee exit procedures.
- Support all employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
- Ensure that online employee records, work hours, and other system data are kept up to date in real time.
- Identify and report on business needs (qualitative and quantitative) related to growth, wellbeing, attrition, and risk, translating strategy into actionable programs, operations, or activities.
- Conduct HR upskilling workshops to promote best practices, stay updated on legislation changes, and coach and mentor warehouse managers to ensure they are confident and competent in HR policy matters, such as performance management and changes to bonus schemes.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and company policies to minimize risks.
The Ideal Candidate
- Must have a valid visa at least 1.5 years to work in the UK; the position offers the possibility of a skilled work visa.
- Must have at least 2 years of full-time working experiences.
- A solid background in HR or a related field, with experience influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English and Chinese, as communication with HQ in China is required.
- Ideally experienced with recruiting, onboarding, creating HR documentation, and managing basic payroll, risk, and compliance issues.
- A consultative, solution-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities and driving business change.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Passionate about leadership development, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
