About The Role
Edenserv is East Devon’s new Local Authority Trading Company, delivering a high quality community waste and recycling service across the district. To support Edenserv to build their teams, we’re looking for an organised and customer-focused HR Administrator to join our team as a Human Resources Support Officer. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll provide essential administrative support across the employee journey, from recruitment and pre-employment checks to contract changes, probation tracking and leavers administration. You’ll play a key part in keeping our HR systems and records accurate, supporting managers and candidates, and helping us deliver a responsive, efficient and professional HR service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

Above all, you’ll be collaborative, adaptable and committed to delivering a high-quality service that supports both colleagues and candidates.
