Job Description
This role will support the day to day running of our HR system (Workday) currently in place, resolving issues and configuration problems across the suite of HR systems. This role will also support the wider portfolio HR team with reporting, data analysis and project support. The chosen candidate will be the first point of contact for support and guidance. HR Systems Specialist will be encouraged to utilise their communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills to strengthen the understanding of HRIS processes amongst staff within all portfolios.
We are looking for a proactive and energetic individual to join our HRIS team. The successful candidate will have a keen focus on people-experience, an eye for detail and a mindset for continual improvement. This role will collaborate closely with the wider HR and Operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide resolution to end users by resolving tickets within agreed SLA timeframe with the ability to assess and execute to the urgency and priority of each inquiry.
- Provide training support to group and business unit (BU) HR and ensure all training materials are kept up to date.
- Complete regular system administrative tasks including audits, user updates and annual process initiation.
- Assist with regular testing initiatives (User Acceptance Testing) of Workday functionality. This can include software upgrades and new implementations.
- Coordinate with Payroll, IT, and other departments to ensure efficient and effective HR System functionality.
- Supporting critical events in the HR calendar from the technology perspective, including Performance Reviews, Bonus submissions, Calibration and Progressions.
- Conduct independent research and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to maintain data accuracy/integrity.
- Ability to assess high volumes of data, ensure data accuracy and the ability to ask appropriate questions.
- Collaborate with HR Partners to learn about various HR Functions, best practice and how they relate to and can be better supported by the HR System.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all HR information in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and gather working knowledge of new HR System functionalities.

Skills/Knowledge
- Experience of identifying and resolving system or process issues (Essential)
- Ability to ask questions, learn quickly, conduct independent research, and be curious.
- Comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the organizations, globally.
- Portfolio of effective writing, editing, and oral communications skills that demonstrates an ability to convey information in clear, efficient, and compelling ways.
- Have an advanced level of Excel and IT skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Educated with a degree level, with a focus in HR.
- At least 3 years experience of working in HR environment (preferably a generalist or HR systems role).
- Have worked with workday HCM.
- French Fluency would be a helpful bonus
