About the role
The HR Technology Manager shapes, delivers, and optimises Inizio's HR technology ecosystem aligned to our enterprise HR and business strategy. Being the primary bridge between HR and IT, you will lead HR business engagement, oversee delivery and operations, and ensure HR systems ensure scalable, compliant, and data-driven people processes.
You will have end-to-end accountability for Workday, which includes core HCM and modules. Additionally, you will have oversight of associated platforms, such as talent acquisition, learning management systems, benefits providers, and HR master data solutions. Our Workday IT Operations team will report directly into this role.
You will report to our Deputy Chief Information Officer. Flexible working arrangements (onsite, remote, hybrid) are available for this position.

Responsibilities
HR Business Engagement & Strategy Enablement
- Be the IT partner to HR leadership, translating HR and business strategy into a HR technology roadmap.
- Lead structured engagement with HR partners to govern HR technology projects.
- Provide expertise on HR technology trends, system capabilities, and best practices to support workforce strategy, transformation, and growth.
HR Technology Leadership & Solution Delivery
- Oversee the delivery of HR technology solutions, from demand intake and design through build, testing, deployment, and stabilisation.
- Ensure solutions are aligned to agreed outcomes, architectural standards, and security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Lead delivery teams and external partners to deliver complex, multi-system HR projects on time and within scope.
Workday Platform Ownership & Operations
- Provide leadership for the Workday platform, including roadmap planning, release management, configuration, integrations, and ongoing optimisation.
- Oversee the Workday Operations team, ensuring high system availability, data quality, and support for HR and the business.
- Mentor the Workday operations team to support product capabilities and solutions for while promoting collaboration across IT and HR teams.
- Be the senior escalation point for Workday-related issues and decisions.
Governance, Risk & Vendor Management
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for HR technology investment, change management, and data ownership.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and implementation partners, including performance, contracts, and commercial oversight.
- Ensure HR systems meet regulatory, audit, data privacy, and security requirements across all regions.

Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead the HR technology and Workday teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Be a visible, credible technology manager within IT and the broader organisation.
About you
- Leadership experience in HR technology within a complex, enterprise environment.
- Deep hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including operational ownership and large-scale solution and delivery.
- Can translate strategic HR priorities into technology solutions.
- Experience overseeing integrated HR systems beyond core HCM
- Experience leading diverse teams and third-party vendors.
