Interim HR Transformation Lead – UK Organisation
** Vince interview** are partnering with a leading UK organisation to appoint an experienced HR Transformation Lead on an interim contract.
This is a critical opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering complex people change initiatives, working closely with senior leadership to shape and implement organisational change across a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Location: Leeds | Hybrid (2–3 days per week) Rate: up to £500 per day
Key Accountabilities
The HR Transformation Lead will be responsible for:
- Leading the HR workstream across a major transformation programme
- Driving organisational design, workforce planning, and restructuring activities
- Managing collective and individual consultation processes (including TUPE)
- Providing specialist advice on UK employment law and employee relations
- Supporting transactional areas, including acquisition, divestment, and restructuring activities
- Developing change management and communication strategies
- Producing executive-level reporting and programme governance updates
- Identifying and mitigating people-related risks throughout the programme
- Ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and transition into business-as-usual (BAU)

Essential Requirements
We’re looking for a seasoned HR professional with:
- Extensive experience leading HR delivery teams in enterprise-wide transformation programmes
- Strong expertise in organisational design and workforce restructuring
- Hands-on experience in collective consensus-building, consultation, and restructures
- Deep working knowledge of TUPE implementation and applicable UK employment legislation
- Proven ability to embed change through clear communication and people engagement
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including executive influence and negotiation
- Structured consultative approach to programme delivery, planning and resource management
