Role Summary

The Associate HR Business Partner – International is an intermediate-level HR professional who partners with business leaders and employees across international regions (US, Europe, APAC, LATAM) to deliver impactful HR solutions.

This role requires:

  • Strong international outlook and cultural adaptability
  • High proficiency and independent decision-making
  • Expertise in global HR operations, including payroll, compliance, and employee relations
  • Confidence in navigating cross-functional HR projects

The position is a full-time, office-based role (5 days/week).


Responsibilities

Employee & Records Management

  • Manage and resolve internal/external HR inquiries, escalating complex cases as needed
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of digital/physical employee records across regions (leave management, data protection compliance)
  • Execute payroll reporting, resolving discrepancies with Finance teams for international payroll accuracy

HRIS & Technology

  • Administer and enhance Oracle HRIS, identifying inefficiencies and partnering with HR Operations
  • Write and submit reports on HR activities and trends

Employee Engagement & Training

  • Facilitate HR training programs, workshops, and town halls
  • Develop strategic employee communications to promote engagement and inclusion
  • Organize HR events and cross-functional meetings

Onboarding, Offboarding & Performance

  • Design and improve global onboarding/offboarding programs (regulatory compliance + experience excellence)
  • Lead performance review cycles—scheduling, documentation, calibration, and reporting

Talent Acquisition & Compliance

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to draft employment contracts, offer letters, and amendments
  • Advise on jurisdiction-specific labor laws and guidance for hiring managers

Advisory & Problem-Solving

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor for policy queries and employee relations, exercising independent judgment
  • Continuously learn best practices to improve workplace efficiency

Skills & Experience Required

Core Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of progressive HR experience, including:
    • HR Generalist
    • HR Advisor
    • Other business-partnering roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

Technical Proficiencies

  • Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Oracle HRIS (configuration/optimization experience is a plus)
  • Airtable or similar HR databases

Key Competencies

✔ Ability to independently resolve complex/sensitive HR issues with sound judgment ✔ Strong business partnering skills—confidence in influencing stakeholders globally ✔ Analytical capabilities to interpret HR data and drive decision-making ✔ Multitasking across international time zones, delivering under pressure ✔ Discretion & integrity in handling confidential matters

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience in high-growth or multinational HR environments
  • In-depth knowledge of international employment laws
