Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP), Production Reports To: VP of HR Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM Place of Work: UK HQ, Mill Court, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire MK12 5EU Employment Type: Full Time – (Hybrid) 3 days on-site / 2 days Work From Home (WFH)

Role Overview

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as the primary People & Culture partner for RWS Global’s production businesses (Land, Sea, Sports), working across multiple regions and time zones. This role:

  • Partners with business leaders to support a diverse, global workforce.
  • Enables scaling executives, creative talent, corporate staff, and hourly/fixed-term employees.
  • Operates as a strategic employee relations and organisational effectiveness advisor, balancing hands-on support with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership

  • Build trusting relationships with business leaders to align organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy with commercial goals.
  • Advise managers on performance management, team effectiveness, and feedback techniques.
  • Translate strategic business goals into practical people plans.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure consistent, fair application of policies across global teams, aligned with local regulations.
  • Partner on structured performance improvement processes.

Global HR Compliance & Risk

  • Oversee adherence to employment law and regional compliance across regions, fixed-term/hourly roles.
  • Proactively identify risks/gaps and collaborate with People Operations to mitigate them.

Talent & Organisational Effectiveness

  • Support succession planning, career mobility, and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Recommend solutions to address organisational capabilities.
  • Drive engagement transformation, retention strategies, and team health improvements.

Partnership with People Operations

  • Offer frontline insights to inform HR process design (onboarding, offboarding, policies).
  • Collaborate on new system rollouts to ensure adoption success.

Change Management & Communication

  • Lead communication and support during restructures, leadership transitions, or team changes.
  • Facilitate cultural shifts toward a proactive HR approach.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with HRBP, HR generalist, or employee relations roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases, advise global leaders, and support unique employee types (salaried, hourly, fixed term).
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law; international experience is desirable.
  • High emotional intelligence,Firm command of critical thinking and influencing discretion.
