HR Employee Solutions Transformation

HR Employee Solutions is undergoing a transformation in our operating model to modernise HR service delivery across EMEA, ensuring global alignment, improved scalability, and the creation of capacity for higher value advisory and strategic work. The journey enables HRES to move towards a standardised, tiered operating model globally.

Who We Are

In the HR Employee Solutions team, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward, and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools they need to succeed.

Morgan Stanley is an industry leader in financial services, known for mobilizing capital to help governments, corporations, institutions, and individuals around the world achieve their financial goals.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to partner closely with our employees and managers as an HRES Business Advisor. The position combines client-facing HR advisory work as well as involvement in ad-hoc project work as required. The ideal candidate will be willing to pick up a range of tasks as per the needs of both the internal client groups supported and the HR Business Partner team. Ability to demonstrate an excellent track record of working in a high volume and fast paced environment, with a strong advisory mindset. The incumbent should have a strong ability to influence stakeholders and possess highly proficient communication skills with clients and HR colleagues alike at the local, regional, and global levels.

What You’ll Do In The Role

  • Advise and manage a wide range of employee relations issues, taking into account best practice, legislative frameworks, and commercial outcomes. This includes liaising with the Employee Relations team, Employment Law, and External Counsel where necessary.
  • Partner and assist the wider HR Business Partner team on Year-End initiatives such as compensation decisions, promotion roundtables, and performance management processes.
  • Manage and advise on Occupational Health cases, ensuring consistency, appropriate risk management, and effective outcomes for employees and managers.
  • Provide timely, accurate data analytics and reporting to support decision making, identifying trends and risks where appropriate.
  • Proactively collaborate with hiring managers, Recruitment and Compensation teams on recruitment activities.
  • Assist with the initiation and coordination of international relocations and assignments, working with relevant internal partners.
  • Assist in the completion of monthly audits, in order to ensure accurate and reliable data, giving guidance, as necessary.
  • Demonstrate agility in delivery, rapidly adapting to changing business priorities, process updates, and evolving operating models.
  • Actively leverage new and emerging HR technologies (e.g., digital tools, automation, virtual agents) to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build trust, operate with confidence, and promote the HR operating model with key divisional stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
