HRIS Analyst / People Systems Analyst

📍London - Hybrid | Multi-country HR Environment
Job Type – 6 month Contract with a view to extend
Salary - ÂŁ275 to ÂŁ350 a day DOE
Start Date – ASAP

We're looking for a People Systems & Data Analyst to support the effective operation, maintenance, and optimisation of HR systems and people data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of HR, technology, and analytics, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and insightful reporting that supports business decision-making and a great employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

People Systems

  • Support the day-to-day administration of HR systems, including HRIS, time & attendance platforms, and system integrations.
  • Maintain system configurations, assist with system testing and upgrades, and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Support system implementations, rollouts, integrations, and upgrades through requirements gathering, documentation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with GDPR and internal governance requirements.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, workflows, and user guides.

People Data & Reporting

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of employee data across multiple systems.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc people analytics reports covering areas such as headcount, attrition, compensation, DE&I, and performance.
  • Deliver meaningful data insights to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support data governance, compliance audits, and data quality initiatives.
  • Assist with annual HR processes including performance reviews, compensation cycles, and employee engagement surveys.

Compliance & Governance

  • Support compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, pay transparency requirements, and internal controls.
  • Assist with workforce audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, Reward, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure alignment across systems and data processes.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve system utilisation, streamline processes, and reduce manual administrative effort.
  • Gather user feedback and translate business requirements into practical system enhancements.
  • Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives across the People function.

Stakeholder Support

  • Act as a key contact for HR systems-related queries and troubleshooting.
  • Provide second-line support to HR teams, managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver training and guidance on system functionality, reporting, and data management best practices.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Experience in HR Operations, People Systems, HRIS Administration, or People Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of HR data management, reporting, and system processes.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of data flows, reporting structures, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Apps would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a complex, international environment.
