New Job Opportunity - Senior HSE Advisor - 2/2 Rotation - until September 2026 - Based in Barrow

Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Duration: ASAP Start – September 2026
Rotation: 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Overview

Our Client has an urgent requirement for a Senior HSE Advisor to support operations at its Barrow-in-Furness site until the end of September 2026, when the new organisation structure goes live.

Due to the immediate start requirement, candidates with lengthy notice periods are unlikely to be suitable.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience working on COMAH sites.
  • Strong and visible HSE leadership capability.
  • Experience supporting site teams through periods of organisational change.
  • Ability to work effectively with technically qualified HSE and operational professionals, including:
    • Well Engineering
    • Engineering
    • Operations Teams
  • NEBOSH Certificate (essential).

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Senior HSE Advisor position within the energy, oil & gas, process, chemical or industrial sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence safe working practices across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience supporting operational sites and driving continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.
