Site HSE Advisor – Carbon Capture Project
JAB Recruitment is currently sourcing an experienced Site HSE Advisor to support a major carbon capture project.
Reporting to the Field HSE Manager, the successful candidate will help develop, manage and continuously improve the site Safety Management System throughout the engineering, procurement, construction and development phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring subcontractor compliance
- Ensuring plant, equipment and site activities meet applicable HSE requirements
- Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis and safe systems of work
- Overseeing Permit to Work processes and hazardous-material controls
- Monitoring HSE performance and reporting against agreed KPIs
- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
- Promoting environmental compliance and sustainable working practices across the site

Candidate Requirements

- Qualification in HSE, engineering or a related discipline
- NEBOSH Diploma
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
- Several years’ HSE experience within the oil and gas industry
- Previous experience supporting major onshore construction or EPIC projects
- Strong knowledge of Construction Design and Management Regulations
- Experience conducting site surveys, inspections and investigations
